Continuous welder
Continuous welders
Continuous sealers are used in the pharmaceutical and food industries. They perform heat seals by continuously moving the bags. This packaging method is ideal for manufacturers looking to streamline their bag sealing process. Faster than a machine operating one at a time, and allowing for simple and efficient sealing, continuous sealers are compatible with all heat-sealable bags and straps (PE/PP/PA-PE/ALU/KRAFT). They can also be adjusted to seal packaging of all thicknesses.
How does a plastic welder work?
The continuous welding process is simpler than you might think:
- The bag is clamped between two Teflon bars, they isolate the bag and make it move forward
- The conveyor is set to go at the same speed as the sealing bars are moving
- The bag passes between the two heating blocks, the sealing pressure depends on the spacing of the blocks
- The bag passes between the two cooling blocks to cool the weld
- The bag is then evacuated using the conveyor and the output toothed belts.
Setting up a continuous welder
To achieve the best seal quality, it is strongly recommended that you check your sealer's settings. You will need to adjust the feed speed and sealing temperature of your sealer to suit your bag.
Although this type of machine is compatible with all types of bags, they do not seal in the same way. So take the time to adjust your machine's sealing settings when you switch from a plastic bag to a cardboard bag, for example.
Also check that the running speed of the welding strips is equal to the speed of the conveyor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Difference between External and Chamber sealers?
External suction (compact machine) removes air from the bag: perfect for solids (meat, cheese). Chamber sealers vacuum the entire chamber: essential for LIQUIDS (soups, sauces) and high volumes.
Which bags should I use?
The golden rule: External vacuum sealers require EMBOSSED (textured) bags to allow airflow. Chamber vacuum sealers (with a tank) use SMOOTH bags (more economical).
What to choose: Pre-cut Bags or Rolls?
Bags are ready to use: choose them for speed. Rolls are for economy and custom sizing: you cut exactly the length you need. Ideal for very long items (salmon, fillets) or to avoid plastic waste.
Do you sell spare parts?
Yes. Unlike disposable supermarket appliances, our machines are built to last. We offer wear consumables (gaskets, Teflon strips) and can supply technical parts to ensure the maintenance of your equipment.
What is the warranty?
All our equipment is covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. In case of failure, our technical support team will assist you with repair or exchange.
