Vacuum boxes
Vacuum containers let you package food without compressing it inside a bag. The collection currently features two systems: containers connected to a compatible vacuum sealer and a standalone range supplied with a hand pump. The two ranges use different air-extraction methods. Check that the valve, hose or pump is compatible with your chosen container.
Two systems and six capacities
| System | Available capacities | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| Containers for vacuum sealers | 0.8 L and 1.4 L | A machine with a compatible accessory function or port, plus the appropriate connector. |
| Containers with hand pump included | 1.2 L, 2.1 L, 2.7 L and 4.6 L | No machine is needed to create the vacuum; every variant comes with the hand pump included. A set containing all four capacities is also available. |
How do you choose the right container?
- 0.8 L or 1.4 L: for small portions when you already own a vacuum sealer fitted with the compatible port and connector.
- 1.2 L to 4.6 L: to select a suitable capacity without relying on a machine’s accessory port.
- Delicate or prepared food: the rigid container prevents the crushing associated with a flexible bag, within the limits of its capacity.
- Regular use: check the seal, clean closing surfaces and correct lid position before extracting the air.
Choose a capacity that leaves enough room to close the lid properly without compressing or trapping the contents.
Vacuum packaging does not replace refrigeration, hygiene or the storage rules specific to each food. Dishwasher, freezer, microwave and hot-food use must be checked on the product page for the relevant container; these uses do not apply to the entire collection.

Vacuum container FAQ
Which vacuum container should I choose: a machine-compatible model or one with a manual pump?
Choose the 0.8 or 1.4 L model if your vacuum sealer has a compatible accessory port and you want to use its suction system. Choose the 1.2 to 4.6 L range if you want a standalone solution: each size comes with a manual pump.
Which capacity should I choose?
The 0.8 L size is suitable for small portions and condiments. The 1.2 and 1.4 L sizes work well for leftovers and individual meals. The 2.1 and 2.7 L sizes provide more room for family-sized preparations. The 4.6 L size is intended for bulky foods and larger quantities.
Can liquids and delicate foods be vacuum-packed in these containers?
Yes. The rigid walls prevent berries, salads, pastries and delicate dishes from being crushed. For soups, sauces and marinades, leave space below the valve, keep the seal clean and carry the container upright until the vacuum has stabilised.
Does a vacuum container replace refrigeration?
No. Vacuum storage helps slow oxidation, but it does not sterilise food. Refrigerate perishable products promptly, date each container, follow suitable storage times and discard the food if you have any doubt.
How can I obtain a reliable vacuum and prevent suction loss?
Do not exceed the usable capacity, then check that the seal, container rim and valve are clean, dry and correctly positioned. Run the cycle on the compatible machine or pump until you feel clear resistance. If the vacuum drops, clean the seal and valve, then close the container evenly before trying again.
